Old fashioned feminine charm....vintage style decor and crafts....traditional family values....christian faith and lifestyle. "..whatsoever things are lovely.." Phil. 4:8
I believe a christian home should be a haven from the noise and clamour of the busy bustling world outside. A place to find respite, peace and comfort..a balm to the mind and soul of the family living under its roof. A happy little world of its own where wonderful memories are made that carry one through life with thanksgiving and a nostalgic wish to return HOME!

Pink Saturday~ Christmas decor

It's a warm Christmas Eve here in Australia and we are ready for the festivity of this holy season!
In our loungeroom we have a country fireside scene of gum branches, wooden wine box, candles, burlap and a vintage statue of Christ.

Nestled inside the box is a traditional old paper nativity scene.

An icon of the Madonna and Child hangs nearby.

Handpainted christmas plate and a favourite vintage lamp sit in front of the window.

The mantle at night casts a warm and cheery glow about the room.

And the reason for it all?
Celebrating the birth of Love Incarnate -
the holy Son of God
Jesus Christ!

Dear friends,
I hope you have a most holy and happy Christmas,
full of love and joy and special memories!

grace to you...Trish
